hi there, Welcome to Origin Mommy.
The aim of this site is to create community, share experiences and offer support to all who find themselves on this wild ride called parenthood.
I became a mommy at the age of 38. Before then my days were filled with the operational stresses of the business world, but I gladly traded all that for baby breathe, giggles, play dates and nap time negotiations.
I was under the disillusion that life as a Stay At Home Mom would be easy – it is not. I have needed more courage, wisdom and patience than ever before. I have learned that when it comes to parenting, we cannot do this alone, we need support.
I navigate the ups and downs of this new chapter of life by the grace of God. I journey through the hills and the valleys of parenthood alongside my ever faithful and supportive husband, as well as many others who have offered guidance and wisdom along the way.
Although I write reflections as OriginMommy – the principles, the revelations and the struggles are relevant whether you answer to ‘Mom’ or ‘Dad’.
